The Sanctuary
Nestled between some trees behind Brandons house, is a small opening that is hard to spot unless you are looking for it. It is the entrance to our wolves new habitat. It is a very large enclosure, and the wolves have full access to the house as well. Even though they are wild animals at heart and we want their habitat to suit all of their needs, they still become very attached to their handler, Brandon, and like to snuggle up to him on the couch, or guard him at the foot of the bed.
The enclosure features two ponds; this smaller pond is for the pups to drink from and also to learn to swim in. It is not very deep, so it is perfect for this use. It is also visible from the patio door to Brandons house, so he can keep an eye on the pups swimming at all times.
There are also 4 dog houses painted to mimic dens in the wild. They are nestled between trees, rocks and bushes to keep them hidden and ensure that all wolves feel secure in their dens! Most of all, here at Hidden Hills, we want every one of our animals to feel safe at all times. The entire enclosure is encircled in an almost complete circle of mountain cliffs which are guaranteed to keep all unwanted animals out!
